Branches extend in all directions from an auspicious, deep blue-green pine. Painted with a fine brush, the radiating pine needles seem to quiver in the wind, and the pinecones’ individual scales are rendered with such detail as to seem damp. The many scales in the pinecones indicate a wish for prosperity through plentiful offspring.
