A casting mold for mirrors imitating Han-style Chinese mirrors from this period was excavated at Rokujô Sanbô Shichichô in Kyoto (Sadamori Hideo et al.,1995). This has allowed us to know something of what mirror foundries were like after Hachijôin-no-chô closed.
