Collected Inscriptions of Mirror Makers says that Hitomi Izumo-no-kami Hidetsugu lived in Osaka (Hirose Tosen, 1974), but not much is known about his activities. Long inscriptions like the one on this work were popularly used in the 18th century, but the general make of this mirror places it perhaps in the late 17th century.
