This mirror probably comes from around the same time as another work by Tenkaichi ("First under Heaven") Inaba-no-kami with an inscription that it was made in 1666 (Kanbun 6).The wisteria and trellis are placed in perfect balance. It is a fine work with a dense and finely-rendered sand pattern, as well as sharp casting.
