Kyōho bina dolls are characterized by their clear-cut face with their almond-shaped eyes, and hair made of silk threads. The pair wears court costumes although slightly diverting from the actual ones as they are made of silk using gold threads. The male doll wears a golden cap, while the female wears an ornamented crown.
