Landscapes of the Four Seasons

Museum No.
AK533

This pair of folding screens was made by Unkoku Tôgan (1547-1618), probably in his later years. Although he developed his skills by following the styles of Sessû (1420-1506), this work demonstrates the forms and styles Tôgan eventually achieved on his own.
