This scroll is a copy of the Flower Garland Sutra (from a set of 80 scrolls) made in the Goryeo dynasty. The characters are written with silver pigment on indigo-dyed paper. Based on their writing style and the single-lined grid, the scroll is thought to date between the thirteenth and the beginning of the fourteenth century.
