Irises by a stream adorn the lower part of this lovely hemp kimono, while wisteria and citrus tachibana bloom from a flower carriage at the garment’s shoulders. This cool-looking design is worn in midsummer. Two devided design is characteristic of early eighteenth-century kimono (kosode).
