Serpentine dragons twist amidst a sky filled with stylized clouds and flames. The design outlines were first painted in underglaze blue and fired, then the yellow glaze was applied on top. Inside the footring is the inscription “Made in the Kangxi period [1662–1722] of the Great Qing dynasty,” but the shape and design suggest that it might actually have been made later.
