Nakanoin Michishige (1631-1710), the son of Michizumi, was a renowned poet with the artist name "Fuunin." He left behind works such as a private collection (J., kashû), Rôen wakashû, and a poetry manual, Ukigumo mondô. This is a draft for a poem that was to be offered to Kyoto's Shimogamo Shrine and bears occasional corrections and erasures.
