This booklet originally belonged to Zhan Dan (also known as Chunshui, 1796-1850), a painter who was active in Shanghai during the late Qing (1644-1911) dynasty. It consists of calligraphic works by several Qing figures, including Chen Xishu (1790-1850, also known as Yangwu and Mengqin).
