This collection contains poems by seven calligraphers including the Ming-dynasty scholar Li Mengyang (1472-1530). A native of Qingyang, Gansu Province, Li Mengyang was also known by the pseudonyms Xianji and Kongton. He passed the civil examination in Hongzhi 6 (1493) and was said to have been greatly influenced by the calligraphic style of Yan Zhenqing (709-784). Another contributor to this collection is Taijin (n.d.), who also passed the civil examination in Hongzhi 6.
