This work contains draft poems by Sueyoshi Dôsetsu, corrected by Karasuma Mitsuhiro (1579-1638). Dôsetsu was born to a wealthy merchant in the Kawachi Plains, famous for goshuinsen ("trading ships authorized by the shogunate") trading. Mitsuhiro carefully corrected Dôsetsu's poems about cherry blossoms in Yoshino and added remarks at the end. It is a very interesting piece of work for what it reveals about the close friendship between a wealthy merchant and a court noble during the early Edo period (1615-1868).
