This is an early manuscript of Kyôkunshô, a manual of instructions on court music and dance edited by Komano Chikazane (1177-1242) in 1233 (Tenpuku 1). The colophon reveals that this manuscript was copied by Toyohara no Kaneaki in 1317 (Bunpo 1). On back of the paper is attached a postscript entitled, Tôdô sôdenji, written by Kaneaki in 1394 (Ôei 1).
