Along with Gao Qipei (1660–1734), Ye Wenzhou is renowned for his eccentric finger paintings. It was only after WWII with the introduction of this painting in Japan, however, that would make him well-known. This finger-painted work was previously owned by a collector from Kyoto.
China-Qing
