This square blue-and-white porcelain vase brings together four Chinese Song dynasty (960–1279) historical figures that were recognized for their remarkable loyality: An Min, Chen Dong, Yue Fei, and Wen Tianxiang. They are accompanied by an inscription describing their profiles. The base gives the production era: Daoguang (1821–1850).
