The finely potted body of this ewer is lobed to resemble a melon or gourd. These indentations are further incised with triple lines running vertically down the walls, ending at a register of fine horizontal striations encircling the foot. Its short neck is decorated with two lugs and covered with a concave lid. The entire vessel is coated in a pale green celadon glaze.
