During the Qing dynasty, potters made many porcelain vessels that imitated earlier wares of the Song, Yuan, or Ming dynasty. This example, which looks like a Song celadon, has evenly applied celadon glaze over a white porcelain body. Within the foot ring is inscribed a Qing reign mark in cobalt blue.
