The walls of this conical bowl flare out from an extremely small foot ring. It is coated thickly with blue-green glaze typical of Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province. Unevenness in the glaze provides a sense of variation and scenery. Under the foot ring is a sticker reading “Cunliffe,” telling us this was once in a British collection.
