Two different varieties of fruit—perhaps pomegranates and peaches—are rendered in brilliantly colored glazes. Interior and exterior surfaces are further decorated with intricately incised dragons, lotuses, and other motifs. Abundant yellow and green glazes distinguish susancai (“soft three-color glaze”) wares.
