A perfectly round ring handle is affixed on this small, globular jar-shaped cup with an everted lip. This form, which appears to imitate a metalwork vessel, has been found in sancai wares, white porcelains, green-glazed wares, and other variants. Unlike this cup, some other examples have raised footrings.
