Double dragon-shaped handles bite the dished mouth of this bottle, which has a slim, ridged neck and bulging shoulders narrowing to a constricted base. In China, bottles of this shape were often decorated with three-color (sancai) lead glazes or clay appliqué; however, they did not originate in China. Similar bottles held olive oil in ancient Greece.
